Well, maybe eight and a half.

Counties I have seen today (pretty much in the order visited):

• Bedfordshire


• Hertfordshire


• Buckinghamshire


• Berkshire


• Wiltshire


• Gloucestershire


• Avon


• Somerset (but only very briefly)


• London (I still object to calling London a county)
